Hum 266
Hrm319 - Four painters from the Italian Renaissance with similar styles of painting still have similar creative ideas and formats even though they are from different eras. This could be because they are similar in the intelligences.
Hrm 319The work done by Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Raphael, and Botticelli has not only influenced my views on religion they have also made me view how I myself see my own artwork. This is why it hurt like picking of religious figures in figures in general but will not paint or draw them on my own because of the complexity.
Michelangelo
Hum266 - Michelangelo was born in 1470 he was the second of five brothers in Tuscany. Michelangelo's mother became very ill when he was born he was placed with a foster mother who could take physical care of him had only a mother could.
Hum 266 - Michelangelo claims he decided to be an artist due to this care because the family he was with where stonecutters. His real father was very angry about his decision to become an artist. Michelangelo's intelligence was very pronounced to his father so his father sent him to school at the age of six. But time he was 13 he found followed in the footsteps of great painter Domenicio Ghirlandaio who helped him get into sculpting. Michelangelo was always a sculptor at heart he studied anatomy which helped him in his designs in sculpting and eventually in painting. “But still occupied with the David, Michelangelo was given an opportunity to demonstrate his ability as a painter with the commission of a mural, The Battle of Cascina, destined for the Sali dei Cinguecento of thePalazzo Vecchio… it was never carried past the stage of a cartoon, a full-scale preparatory drawing… this led to his next major project the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican” (www.michaelangelo.com). One of Michelangelo's most famous parts of the Sistine Chapel ceiling is that known as The Creation.
